London’s Royal Opera House has announced that on the weekend of the 24th/25th September it will, once again, be opening up its costume vaults to sell more than 1500 costumes (including shoes and hats) from past opera and ballet productions.

Productions include Lohengrin, Duke Bluebeard’s Castle, Erwartung, Maskarade, Don Carlo (Visconti version), Parsifal and The Sleeping Beauty so, by any standards,  there will be a breathtaking selection of shapes, styles, colours and different periods on sale to suit all tastes!

With prices ranging from £20 to £500 buyers will not only be able to dress their own performance but with all proceeds going towards the work of the Royal Opera House they will also be helping to fund future productions.
